Jivamukti Yoga

Experience a deep, slow-flow vinyasa that challenges your body and mind. Each class blends ancient wisdom with physical postures, fostering spiritual growth and mindful intention. Expect chanting, meditation, and uplifting music to enhance your practice. Jivamukti Yoga reconnects the physical, philosophical, and spiritual aspects of yoga, creating a holistic experience. Suitable for all levels that enjoy a physical practice, though prior yoga experience can deepen your journey.

Beginner Yoga Courses

This is an 8-week course introducing basic poses, breath and sequencing. Each week will have a specific focus and will build on the previous class, revealing the foundation of what a vinyasa yoga class looks and feels like. No yoga experience necessary.

Yin Yoga

Known as the quiet yoga. Yin gently stretches and rehabilitates the connective tissues (30% of our muscle mass) that form our joints by relaxing your muscles and yielding to where your body is in the moment with proper support in each pose. Yin prevents contracture (loss of mobility), degeneration (osteopenia/osteoporosis), reducing fixation (fusing of joints), and providing hydration (essential to proper joint function). This is a floor practice, using a lot of props and long holds.  No yoga experience necessary.

Gentle/Restorative Yoga

Yoga poses that are meant to help your mind, body and breath slow down. When we slow down we can catch up, become more present and let go of what we may be holding on to. By letting go we can begin to restore our energy, feel light, bright and full of energy. The practice will use a variety of techniques to help you gain more tools to take away for use on and off the mat. No yoga experience necessary.

Pre-natal Yoga

Yoga is an invaluable way to prepare the mind, body, and spirit for the many transitions of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood. The challenges faced in labour and birth is 30% physical and 70% mental. It's time to go more inward and listen to your body and trust what it tells you. It is important for mothers to get some sort of exercise every day so that you will have the stamina it takes to labour and give birth. This should be incorporated into your daily routine, which will aid in reducing stress, ease digestion, and naturally align the spine. No yoga experience necessary.
